2013 Hall of Distinction Inductees Announced  The LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business has announced that the members of its 2013 Hall of Distinction class are William Balhoff, Toni Stephenson, and Robert Stuart Jr. This year's class will be inducted at the Hall of Distinction Banquet, which the college will host at the Business Education Complex on Friday, March 22, 2013.

Executive Excellence Symposium March 15
 Technology pioneer Michael Rogers helps businesses around the world think about their future. LSU Executive Education will feature him in its inaugural Executive Excellence Symposium. Rogers recently completed two years as a futurist-in-residence for The New York Times Company and is a regular guest on Good Morning America, The Today Show, and The History Channel.

Bower's Commitment Has Business Ties
 Outside of actual game days, for college football the biggest day of the year is National Signing Day. Twenty-seven future-Tigers put pen to paper and officially declared their intent to play for LSU this year. Among coach Les Miles' latest Top 10 recruiting class was a bit of a shocker-Tashawn Bower.

Hirschheim Named Rainmaker Senior Scholar
 Rudolph Hirschheim, Ourso Family Distinguished Professor of Information Systems, was named a 2012 LSU Rainmaker Senior Scholar in the area of Arts, Humanities, Social or Behavioral Sciences. The announcement was made February 1. Sponsored by Campus Federal Credit Union, the Rainmaker program's awardees are selected by the Council on Research from a pool of nominations.
