Eduniversal Ranks MPA, MS Finance  Eduniversal has announced its 2012-2013 Ranking of the Best 4,000 Masters Programs for 30 majors and has included the LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business' Public Administration Institute and Department of Finance in the mix. PAI's master of public administration as 19th in North America and LSU's Master of Science in Finance curriculum as 40th in North America.

MBAWI Sets Date for 2013 Keep the Pace 5K
The LSU chapter of MBA Women International, formally the 
National Association of Women MBAs, will host the fifth annual Keep the Pace 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk on Friday, March 15, 2013. Registration will begin at 5:00 p.m. at the LSU Natatorium Field, located off of Nicholson Drive. Participants do have the option of registering early as well.

MBA Information Sessions Announced
 The LSU Flores MBA Program has announced it will hold six information sessions, a Preview Day and an Open House this winter and spring. The Preview Day will be held Friday, February 8. The next information session will be held Wednesday, February 27, 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., in the Dining Room on the first floor of The Rotunda at the BEC.

Richardson Quoted in the Advocate
 James Richardson, director of LSU's Public Administration Institute and the Harris J. and Marie P. Chustz Endowed Professor of the Department of Economics, was recently quoted in the Advocate article "Caution urged on taxes." Richardson responded to proposed plans by Gov. Bobby Jindal to eliminate the state income and corporate taxes and shift toward higher sales taxes.
