October is a very special month for many reasons, not the least of which is that our Newsletter is celebrating one year under its new editorship. We hope you've enjoyed the direction we've taken with the content  of our little publication. As always, we welcome your feedback and suggestions!
Next month we're going to take a look at meditation, and in future issues I'm going to begin a series on a specialty of mine -- Palmistry! I wrote three books on the subject some time ago, and you can learn a lot just by looking at your own (and each other's) hands.
 Clear Viewing, Jon Saint Germain

  Orange Magic

Autumn brings an explosion of color to the landscape, and our hearts rejoice at this display of nature's artistic expression. In honour of Autumn, we're devoting this issue to the magical use of orange crystals. Working with an Orange Crystal Ball According to Mr. Claude Conlin, the orange, honey-amber, or yellow crystal ball is employed when working with visualizations involving success, career, personal power, travel, and legal matters. These are good for both projecting and receiving.
The first step is to clear your mind completely of distracting thoughts, either through meditation or one-pointed concentration on your intention. Place your mind in an alert, relaxed state, turn off your phone, and make sure you're not going to be interrupted. Studies have shown that when we're interrupted from a task requiring intense concentration, it can take us up to twelve minutes or longer to regain our train of thought. One result of these studies led many major corporations to limit their employees to checking e-mails no more than three times daily. This simple restriction increased productivity tremendously, by keeping employees focused on demanding tasks longer.
Next, "Enter the Silence." Going into the silence is not making the mind blank, but rather silently contemplating a specific mental or spiritual quality with receptive or projective intent,   either toward a specific individual or toward everything in general.  In this way, one can be consciously receptive, mentally passive, or one can aggressively project a specific quality -- let's say, goodness or compassion. Going into the silence is very similar to meditation, except rather than simply contemplating an object of meditation and its accompanying mental states, the mind enters a place of pure causation, either receptive or projective.

When working with orange or honey-amber crystals, our causative thoughts are of success or personal power. We have to have a specific goal in mind. It isn't enough to think "I will be successful." There must be a target, an end-game --  for example, a new job, raise, promotion, or life-event. Of course, we can also draw personal power from the Divine Mind if we wish.
The next step is to either project or attract our desired result. First, clear your mind of any negative thoughts. Mr. Conlin, like all advocates of New Thought theory, tells us that thoughts manifest in daily experience, so if you fill your mind with obsessive thoughts of failure, these thoughts will surely manifest. You must believe as fact that failure is never an option. These are the thoughts and feelings upon which you focus your total attention, and which you'll project into your crystal.
Project these strong thoughts into your crystal ball. Fill the orb with these thoughts of  power and success, and then send them out toward your target -- even if your target is the entire world! Radiate these thoughts in every direction, because crystal projection is extremely powerful.
That which is projected can also be attracted. This happens almost automatically.  Relax your mind into a restive, receptive state and draw your desired objective back into your crystal ball, basking in the radiant energies trapped within. You can find much more information on Projection and Attraction in previous newsletters, and by listening to our Crystal Silence League Radio Hour.Orange Crystals     Amber, orange calcite, citrine, tiger's-eye, orange kyanite, carnelian, wulfenite, orange selenite, and tangerine quartz are a few of the many orange crystals that are easily available, and to fit any budget.
