Greetings!

This has been the hottest summer in recent memory. With temps near 100 degrees, it's a good time to catch up on reading and organizing, which is what I've been attempting at Chateau Saint Germain in preparation for an exciting upcoming series for the newsletter and radio show.  Stay in touch with us!

This month we're looking at ways to be healthier, which is a topic on which we've spent some time discussing on the Crystal Silence League Radio Hour on the LMC Radio Network.

Speaking of which, be sure to listen to all the LMC Radio Network's excellent programming, which you can find listed on the sidebar to your left!

Clear Viewing,
Jon Saint Germain

Healthy Mind = Healthy Body

The mind holds the key to all aspects of success and happiness in life, so it's no news that mental states have a powerful effect on our physical health.

It's long been known that stress, anger, depression, and grief have measurable and often lasting negative effects on the body. Studies have shown that depressed physiological states respond immediately to the simple act of smiling. Isn't this incredible? Simply by smiling, we trigger a beneficial  physiological response, releasing endorphins and other mood-enhancing chemicals.

There are two components to emotions: mental and physical. If you doubt this, experience it for yourself. Love, for example, is often  accompanied by pleasurable physical feelings in the abdominal region. Fear, especially terror, is often felt as a loosening of the muscles in the lower diaphragm. Anger is often felt as a tightening in the upper chest. We speak of the "warm glow" of contentment, "icy fear," "hot rage," etc. Pain also has a double component, mental and physical discomfort. When we experience physical pain, we're also likely to suffer anxiety, fear, stress, or anger.  Pain-reduction techniques consist mainly of quieting the emotional reactions to pain, allowing the mind to distance and dissociate from the physical sensations. Another approach, advocated by Buddhist practitioners, is to replace the feelings of fear and anxiety with more positive mental states of compassion and healing.

What this tells us is that the body/mind connection is a direct circuit to overall well-being. New Thought teaches that healthy thoughts lead to healthy body, and putting this idea to the test can only lead to beneficial results.

The techniques are simple. First, realize their is a perfectly healthy YOU already present in the Mind's Eye of the Universal Consciousness. All you have to do is connect with this image and draw it into yourself. Imagine this perfect, healthy, powerful YOU, connect with it, and possess it as your own. It is yours -- it's YOU.

The next step is to trigger the body's own natural healing mechanism. This is accomplished by cultivating an attitude of joyful expectancy, anticipation, and faith that healing is not only possible, but inevitable. You will become the personification of the perfect, healthy YOU. Healing WILL occur!

If there is a specific body part which requires healing, focus your attention on it, visualizing it whole, healthy and functional. Anticipate with joyous heart and mind the healing which is occurring right now! And allow the body/mind connection to do its work. The Laws of Attraction and Correspondence match the thought with the reality.

I can tell you  from personal experience that these techniques shorten recovery time from major surgery significantly, boost the immune system, help medications work faster, and shorten the course of infectious diseases.

Think yourself well!

Complimentary Crystals

It's well-known that certain colored crystals are attuned for work in certain specific areas. Red or pink crystals are attuned for love work, and green for money work. Here's an idea to boost the power of your Attraction work through the use of complimentary crystals.

By complimentary crystals, I don't mean crystals of complimentary colors (such as yellow/violet). This is the topic of another discussion altogether, of particular interest to chakra workers, but altogether different from what I mean here.  By complimentary crystals, I mean two or more crystals that are similar enough in vibrational harmony that they work together in enhancing a specific area of spiritual work. Here are some examples:

Money:
Iron pyrite, jade, green aventurine. Place together in a small ring formation, and stand a small (2") green crystal ball on them.

Love:
Pink tourmaline, rose quartz, red jasper. Place together in a ring formation and set a small (2") red crystal ball on them.

Work:
Tiger Eye, Carnelian, hematite. Place in a small ring formation, and set a small (2") yellow or honey-amber crystal ball on them.

You get the idea.  By combining three or more complimentary crystals with a tinted crystal ball, your projections will gain greater power and range.

To help you identify what crystals work well together, you'll need a crystal encyclopedia to learn about various crystals and stones.

From the Mailbox:
I just wanted to share something with you. I held up my little clear crystal ball today and I happened to be in front of a mirror. When I first peered into the ball I of course saw my reflection upside down but it turned into a kind of infinity image because I could see the reflection repeated smaller and smaller, and flipping from right side up to upside down continuously. I can't really describe how it made me feel but there was defiantly a sense of how big and small we all are in the greater scheme of things.--Nathen Steininger
