2015 Winter Solstice Service

Winter solstice occurs on the shortest day and longest night of the year, when the sun's daily maximum elevation in the sky is the lowest.

The solstice lasts only a moment in time and has many different names such as "midwinter", "the longest night", "the shortest day" or ""the first day of winter". The seasonal significance of the winter solstice is in the reversal of the gradual lengthening of nights and shortening of days.

The Sun's light will grow from this night on. We are a circle of light. Let this light grow to fill us, heal us and the people around us. Let this light grow to help all people heal themselves and our beautiful planet Earth.

Short term housing needed.

Frank Smith's house is on "the market" and will likely be sold in the very near future. At this time of year, people want to move in as soon as possible after passing papers. Frank is looking for a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment to rent for 6 months or longer in the Easton area. Please email Frank at francis-smith@comcast.net
