Congregational Conversations

Over the last couple of months the Executive Committee hosted two congregational discussions to plan for our future. The meetings were well-attended and many great ideas and thoughts were discussed*.

Over the last couple of weeks, the Executive Committee reviewed the ideas brought forth during the first two conversations and we have developed a plan to move forward in the hiring process for our next minister. This plan will be presented at our next Congregational Conversation on Tuesday, November 27, 7pm, in Parish Hall.

We hope everyone attends and gives us feedback!

St. Mark and Unity Church Bell Choirs Play a Love Song
On Sunday, November 18, 2012, St. Mark and Unity Church played the 21st Annual Concert of their combined handbell choirs. As always, St. Mark provided wonderful hospitality and a dinner for our choir and for everyone who attended the concert. In the Spring of 2013, Unity hopes to host St. Mark to celebrate the 22nd year of this event.

Unity Church Aiding Neighbors (UCAN) Helps the Red Cross
Thanks to the generosity of members and friends over the past few weeks, Unity Church has collected over $800 toward the Red Cross relief effort for people impacted by hurricane Sandy.

It is great to know that, even in tough financial times, our congregation understands that helping others is not something to be done only when it is convenient or easy!
