Greetings, neighbors!

May is one of the best months to live in Maryland. The temperatures are great, people are out and about, and our community is blooming with flowers and color. You'll see our landscaping company more often now. Please be alert for pedestrians and children playing. A few highlights for this month:

No Soliciting Signs

You may have noticed the new "No Soliciting" signs throughout the neighborhood. We purchased six of them and had them installed to help combat the unwanted solicitors who frequent our community. These are warnings at every entrance. If someone comes to your door, mention there are "No Soliciting" signs here and tell them the police will be called. Thanks Amanda Rambo and Shannon Pierce for coordinating this effort.

Phantom Lot

We investigated the 2.41 acre lot and found that we own it but have no access to it as an association. While the county does have an easement for sewer and power, we do not. We have been maintaining a path off Shore Acres with this through land we do not own nor, after study, have the right or approval to go through. So, effective immediately, we will no longer maintain the lot. This will be treated the exact same way as the lot across Bay Green from the Super Fresh on the corner that is the associations, but we do not maintain it.

Grocery Store Tenant Proposed for Bay Hills
Prepare to Welcome Green Valley Marketplace

A locally owned and operated grocery store, Green Valley Marketplace, may be moving into the vacant space in Bay Hills Plaza. Green Valley, out of Baltimore, has been family owned for almost 100 years.

If Green Valley moves forward, they will complete a $1 million renovation to the current space. They need additional parking spaces and approval to move forward.
