Welcome!

Greetings, neighbors and friends.

Repaired park benches
We have continued to improve and update the community assets, most recently the park benches and the area around the pavilion. We have also been working diligently to crack down on speeding throughout the neighborhood. These efforts include an increased number of traffic speed signs and routinely asking the police to monitor the neighborhood and ticket speeders as well as those who run stop signs.

September Meeting Highlights
  • Update on Bay Green road closures and basketball courts from the county: Construction and road closures are slated for next summer but could change. The county will attempt to minimize impact on the basketball courts, but there is a chance that they will need to be disturbed to place the new culvert and address the existing utilities.
  • Mark your calendars for the annual meeting Wednesday, October 8 at the Bay Hills Golf Clubhouse. Social hour will be from 7-8 p.m.  Meeting starts at 8 p.m. Look for proxy ballots in the mail and by email.
  • We have a new welcome coordinator, Renee Hood. If you are new to the neighborhood or have a new neighbor, please contact her for a welcome bag from the community association.
  • Ann Chumney has rejoined the board. Welcome back, Ann!

Covenants Reminder

If you're having a fence installed this fall, please read and obey pages 20 and 21 in the community covenants. Violators will receive a letter, then a fine, then a lien on their property.

Annual Meeting

Please join us for the BHCA annual meeting on Wednesday, October 8. We will start with a social hour at 7 p.m., and the meeting will commence at 8 p.m. at the Bay Hills Golf Course Clubhouse. We expect a representative from the Watershed Protection and Restoration Program, Department of Public Works, to present information about the proposed utilities project on Bay Green by the basketball courts.

You should have already received your proxy ballot either by email or mail. Please send it in if you cannot attend the meeting. If we don't get enough votes, we have to resend the mailing. Click here to complete the proxy ballot now >>

Sincerely,

Paul Cain
BHCA President
