Welcome!
Greetings, neighbors and friends. Our first BBQ Cookout/Party was a blast. If you were there, you witnessed it, and if you were not, you missed it. We had well more than 110 people show up, but what I liked the best was seeing 40+ kids playing on the swing sets and the playground. A great thanks to Shannon and Chad who did the bulk of the planning, food, etc. We had a strong burst of a storm come through for about 30 minutes, and boy did the new pavilion roof and lights come in handy! We will be planning another as we got many compliments on neighbors getting to meet each other. Watch for Spring Fling 2015. Maybe a holiday party too. Ideas, suggestions and constructive criticism are welcome. Thanks to all who came out for it. It's back to school. That means lots of kids on the streets. Please remember to drive slowly through the neighborhood. We are trying very hard to crack down on speeding, but we need YOU to pay attention to your speed to make a real difference. We are getting the speed signs from the county as soon as possible. August Meeting Highlights- We will be repairing the benches throughout the community because the wood is rotted and falling apart.
- We will be putting topsoil in around the pavilion to build it up so that it stops washing away. Also, we're having grass seed planted.
- Expect road closures this fall on Bay Green in front of the basketball courts as the county repairs the sinkhole. More updates to come. Check our blog and Facebook page for frequent updates.
- We are ordering "No Soliciting" signs to be placed at the entrances of the neighborhood to help cut down on solicitors, which are not only annoying but a safety and privacy threat.
- We have also ordered a second bulletin board for the other side of the neighborhood where we can post notices, flyers, etc.
- Mark your calendars for the annual meeting Wednesday, October 8. Social hour will be from 7-8 p.m. Meeting starts at 8 p.m. Look for proxy ballots in the mail and by email.

- Swing set area has been cleaned up, and swings sets have been repaired. Be sure to utilize this area while the weather is nice. Click here for more pictures >>

Dogs and cats, when off the owner's property, shall be on a leash.

October 27 - 29Many of you have asked when we will have dumpsters in the neighborhood. The county only provides dumpsters once a year now, and they rotate fall and spring. This year, the dumpsters will be in the pool parking lot October 27 - 29, so mark your calendars for fall cleaning. Join Boy Scouts
Would you like to go camping, learn new skills, make new friends, and have fun? Our troop meets every Thursday at 7 p.m. at Ulmtead Barn and goes camping one weekend every month. Come check us out! Contact: Mike Allen, Scout Master, Troop 835, 410-703-7965 Recycling in Arnold Park
The county will provide dumpsters in Bay Hills this October, but if you need to get rid of stuff now, try the dumpsters located in Arnold Park. You can bring anything you would normally put in your at-home recycling container, and it saves you from having to keep cardboard boxes piled up--or anything else that fills the container quickly. For more information, visit recyclemoreoften.com. Click on "Recycling Information," then "Parks." Welcome New Residents! If you are new or have a new neighbor, we would like to drop off a welcome bag from the Bay Hills Community Association. Additionally, if you have a business, we would be happy to include one of your business cards in the welcome bag. Please contact Diane Ireland at 410-626-7130. BHCA Resale Packets
If you are selling a home in the community, please contact Bay West Management to obtain a resale packet. The packet contains the community's by-laws, covenants, and community regulations. The packet should be furnished to the buyer prior to the property sale closing. Bay West will confirm if there is any balance due on the homeowner's account before releasing the packet.
Sellers are expected to clear their BHCA account prior to closing on a home sale. The title company representing the buyer is required by law to research obligations related to a property. These obligations include homeowner association memberships, outstanding dues, liens, etc. To request a resale packet, contact Michelle Boss or Ralph Hudson at Bay West: 410-897-0207.
