Welcome!
Greetings Neighbors,
Happy holidays! This is a busy time of year, but I'd like to ask you to put Tuesday, December 17 on your calendars.
Please come to the last county-required Rite Aid meeting to voice your opinion on the 14,700-sq-ft Rite Aid proposed for Bay Hills Plaza. This plan significantly affects our community, particularly regarding traffic, noise, lights, and parking. Whether you are for or against this enormous building, let your voice be heard at the meeting December 17, 6-8 p.m., at Broadneck Elementary.
A few other notes:
- Be sure to participate in the annual Bay Hills Luminaries candle program on Dec. 24. It's a wonderful way to share the holiday spirit and make our community a special sight to see. See article below for details.
- We donated $500 to Cub Scout Pack 727. We will be asking them to work on a service project in the neighborhood, distributing the "Drive 25" signs to homes and painting the pavilion tables.
- We formed a Capital Improvements/Long-Range Planning Committee with Shannon Pierce and Pat Nolan as co-chairs.
- We plan to repair the swing sets and clean up the playground area landscaping in the spring.
Please see the November meeting minutes for more details. Our next board meeting will be Tuesday, January 7, 7:30 p.m. at O'Loughlin's. Come join us, like us on Facebook, email me at president@bayhillsonline.com, or call me at 410-349-8119. Thanks, Paul Cain BHCA President

Keep Up the Tradition! Luminaries 2013
For the Holidays, It's Bay Hills Light-Up Time
Bay Hills Community residents can once again share in the holiday spirit by participating in our 38th Annual Luminaries candle program on Tuesday night, December 24, 2013 at 7 p.m. If you plan to be away on that night, please ask a neighbor to set up and light the luminaries in front of your home.
We know that lots of folks from the surrounding area like to come by and drive slowly through our wonderful community to see this very special display of curbside candlelights, and our beautiful decorations. In case of a serious snow condition, we will send an email message to all residents OR you can contact your coordinator.
Directions will be provided with the luminary materials again this year. In case of inclement weather on December 24, the candles should be lit at 7 p.m. on Wednesday night, December 25, instead. If at all possible, please park all vehicles off of the street.
Several residents have kindly agreed to act, once again, as area coordinators. As such, they have agreed to supply the luminary materials to you on/about December 20. Please contact your coordinator if you have not received your materials by that time or give us a call. Click here to view the list of area coordinators and their contact information.
Thank you for your support. With everyone's participation, Bay Hills will be truly beautiful for the holidays. Be sure to drive around yourselves to see our luminary magic.
