Changes to the 8:00 Service

Working with the Worship Committee and with parishioners who attend the 8:00 service, beginning next week, we are making a few changes to the worship format.  We will replace some of the sung hymns with instrumental music, and we will recite portions of the service that were formerly sung.  It is our hope that these changes will allow for a more contemplative time of worship, meditation and prayer within the context of the service.  As always, let Mother Liz or Warren Drury know what you think of the changes!

Christian Formation Opportunities

Christian Formation involves our Heart, and our Hands. It's our Education within our Spiritual community, so that we can go out and love the world!

Registration for Christian Education for all ages is this Sunday at 9:30 am in the parish hall! Sunday School is offered weekly (except major holidays) for all levels (children through adults) from 9:30-10:15 a.m.

Tables will be set up in the Parish Hall for each class where you can meet teachers, learn about the class, ask questions, and make connections.

For more information about adult class offerings or to register for a class online, click here.

Christian Education for all ages starts next Sunday August 21st.

Caf Theology: Resumes on August 20th from 10:00am to 11:30 am in the parish hall. The book for this season is "Surprised by Hope", by N.T. Wright.

BREAKFAST ON SUNDAYS

Dear parishioners, as we begin a new school year and go back to two services, we are encouraging individuals and families to partner up and sign-up to prepare breakfast for Sunday mornings.  The church provides you with a budget of $75.00.  You purchase food, either prepackaged or home-made, and the fare does not have to be elaborate; it can be a simple continental breakfast of pastries and fruit, yogurt, etc.

The breakfast sign-up sheet is on the notice board in the hallway. You may volunteer more than once, or join forces with another individual, ministry group or family. For further information or questions, please call Nancy Drury  678-779-3482.  Thank you!
