2016 Business & Career Expo

The 2016 Yankton Chamber Business & Career Expo is a new event promoting education and the Yankton business community! This event will showcase business products and services, include a job fair for employment seekers and is open to Mount Marty College Students, faculty and the general public. Businesses and organizations wishing to showcase their products and/or services should sign up for a display booth. Costs are as follows: Non-Profits - $100Non-Members - $200 Chamber Members - $150 (unless member selected in bundle)

exclusively to Members of the Yankton Area Chamber of Commerce.
This benefit will be free to you as a member benefit included in your annual chamber dues.
The video library is available to you 24/7 from your computer, tablet or smart phone. The Business Education Video Library consists of over 400 videos almost all 30 minutes in length and subjects covered include sales, human resources, marketing, finance, operations, women's business issues, leadership and quite a bit more.

Applied Engineering recently was awarded the Top Shops benchmarking Honors Program winner in the machining technology category. The 90,000 square foot facility, which specializes in machining precision aluminum components, uses a variety of multiple-machine flexible manufacturing systems (FMS) as well as single machines fitted with pallet pools for continual machining. Tom Bohnet, company president and his son, Tom who is the company project manager recently spearheaded a transition into an improved tool crib system, which resulted in a 62% reduction in scrap and an 18% reduction in tool costs throughout a year.
