New Executive & Business Owner Welcome Mixer - Successful!
|
What a great way to mix it up!
|
"One of the first things we set out to do when launching XpertTeks, was to get involved with the Chamber of Commerce here in Yankton. I've learned when venturing into any business big or small, these are the people you'll want to get in touch with. They're the group that make it their job to make you successful and Yankton's Chamber of Commerce doesn't disappoint. The moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and people eager to help. Since becoming a member we've had so many opportunities to connect and network with local businesses and the community. We are in our fourth week of business and have a decent amount of new customers and are continuing to get our name out there, and I believe the Chamber of Commerce played a big role in this. Thank you Chamber of Commerce for your hard work and efforts, you are greatly appreciated by XpertTeks."

EMV card processing terminals!
|
Has your credit card terminal been upgraded to be EMV compliant? The EMV (Europay, MasterCard, Visa) standards will begin to be implemented in October 2015. EMV is a payment application that resides in a secure computer chip embedded into a payment device. The purpose of the EMV chip is to:
- Store card holder data more securely than the magnetic strip
- Protect card holder data against unauthorized modifications
- Reduce the number of fraudulent transactions resulting from lost, stolen, or counterfeit cards.
If your terminal is not compliant, we have members who can help you. Call the chamber at 605-665-3636! For FAQ's on EMV cards go to: Chip Card Answers
