Students are on SD MyLife - is your business connecting with them?
Workforce Development is one of the top challenges facing local businesses and finding ways to educate our local students on the career opportunities that exist right here in Yankton. Businesses are always looking for ways to get in front of kids to let them know what's available. There is a program by the South Dakota Department of Education that students are currently using and is free for businesses to use to connect with them called SD MyLife. Businesses can post information on their company, career opportunities, and communicate with students about a specific profession. The students can see if companies offer tours, internships, and scholarships.

For more information about how Yankton School District is using this program contact Marc Bies. To get your business in front of students locally and statewide, go to  www.SDMyLife.com/network to create your business account.
