The CVB has partnered with the Yankton High School Activities Office to help coordinate efforts for Yankton to host the 2014 State AA Volleyball match which takes place November 20-22. We will be asking for volunteers to help staff the hospitality room and for donations to help stock the hospitality room with food and beverages throughout the tournament for coaches, administrators, bus drivers, officials, media, etc. If you are able to volunteer time during this event and/or would like to contribute money and be recognized as a sponsor, please email [email protected]. |

In celebration of South Dakota's 125th birthday, all Statehood Celebration Committees are invited to create or provide up to 2 or more ornaments for the grand Rotunda Christmas tree and other displays in the Capitol during the annual holiday display to showcase your community.
Theme: 125 Years of Christmas in South Dakota; Please use this theme when creating your ornaments.
Ideas: Show the history of your town, school, family or special people...Represent special historical events that happened in your town...Show why you are glad to live in SD...Show your favorite places to visit or things to do in SD...Show your vision for the future of SD or your town.
