Member Spotlight - Missouri National Recreational River

What is the biggest value to you of being a Chamber Member?

nullThe Chamber helps us to better understand, appreciate and meet the needs of our community as a partner and supporter. We are able to share information about our programs and public outreach efforts as well as learn what our community business leaders would like to see from us as we promote Yankton and its incredible opportunities for recreational and cultural based tourism.

What is the Missouri National Recreational River?
The National Park Service is here to both protect and support public enjoyment of the Missouri River. As one of the few remaining sections of the river that is close to its natural condition, the Missouri National Recreational River is something special. The responsibility to work together to protect the river falls with multiple agencies, landowners and all of us who live and work here. If successful, both we and our children will be able to enjoy it now and for generations to come.null

Question of the Week???

I have a complaint about another Chamber member - how do I handle this?
  • Chamber members are a collaborative group - intended to benefit all members as we are the future of our community

  • We encourage members to work together for the greater good of each other.

  • Other members are potential referrals.

  • Be respectful of one another and put personal issues aside.

  • When we receive complaints from one member about another member - we take them seriously since it affects the overall mission of businesses working together for a common goal - a successful and profitable community.

  • When a consumer complains about a member, we contact the member to get both sides.
