Spring Hours

Beginning Saturday April 25th we will be open at the Ayers Creek location every weekend from 8:30 - 5:00

Beginning Memorial Day weekend we will be open at Ayers Creek 7 days a week from 8:30 - 5:00 and at the Ocean Pines Swim and Racquet Club on Saturday and Sundays from noon to 5:00.

Stay tuned for information on additional hours and days that will be added to the Ocean Pines schedule in mid-June.

We can open at Ayers Creek anytime by appointment. Call us a couple days in advance to make an appointment for a tour or a rental.

We also deliver kayaks and canoes directly to your door or dock at great daily and weekly rates.

Life on the Creek!

Watching the sunrise reflecting off the frozen creek is a beautiful sight. This winter brought us many icy sunrises to enjoy. Although beautiful, two to three inches of solid ice, makes it rather difficult to paddle.

So a late winter break from the freezing temperatures had us out on the water regardless of a little ice. The brilliant sunshine, glassy water, and our first Osprey sighting of the year was a perfect start to the 2015 season. The long cold winter has made this spring extra sweet.

Come on out of hibernation along with the fish and the turtles and enjoy an early spring paddle on Ayers Creek.

Delmarva Birding Weekend, April 23 - 26

Chase away those winter blues and come on down to the shore for DelMarVa Birding Weekend, April 23rd - 26th.

This is the best time of year to observe the host of migratory waterfowl heading towards their spring and summer quarters. We only see some of these birds for a short time as they pass through in the spring and fall.

Birding weekend is the perfect time to get out on the water for an up close look at the migratory birds as well as many nesting pairs of ducks, geese, bald eagles and terns.

Ayers Creek 5th Anniversary Open House, May 23 - 24

It is hard to believe that 5 years have passed since we launched Ayers Creek Adventures. It has been an amazing experience. We have met so many wonderful people, established life long friendships, and have introduced countless individuals to the joys of paddling.

One of our greatest rewards is to see so many of our guests return to paddle with us year after year. As a small way of showing our appreciation we are holding an extra

special open house this spring. In addition to the free kayak rentals and discounted tours we will also have refreshments and some special give-a-ways.

Saturday, May 23 and Sunday May 24

Free one-hour kayak rentals
Forested Wetlands Tour at 9:00 AM - $25 per person
Salt Marsh Tour at 1:00 PM - $30 per person

Reservations required for tours.
