As the days get shorter and nights get cooler we are
reminded that fall is just around the corner. Fall is such a beautiful time on the creek as we start to see more
diversity in wildlife with the return of the ducks, geese, and otter. Monarch butterflies will be in abundance this
month during their annual migration south. According to Monarch Watch the butterflies should be in peak abundance
in our area from September 14 - October 1.
September is a prime month for kayaking come on out for an idyllic
paddle with Ayers Creek Adventures. |

Trash for Treasure
Help keep our beautiful waterways pristine. If you spot a bottle, can, bait container,
etc., during your paddle pick it up, bring it back
and turn it in for discounts and prizes. Just mention Trash for Treasure prior to your paddle and we'll provide
you with a bag and some gloves to collect any trash you may spot along the way.

Stand Up Paddle Boards (SUP) We continue
to enjoy introducing so many of you to SUP along the calm waters of the
creek. If you haven't tried it out come
on by this month while the warm weather and warm water last. According to The Beachcomber this is must try
end of summer 'bucket list' activity. You can reserve your board directly from our friends at DelMarVa Board Sport Adventures (just let them know you want to paddle Ayers Creek) or give us a
