The 143rd Annual Meeting is just one week away! We're looking forward to networking, interactive programming on issues important to physicians and patients, and the convening of the House of Delegates who will conduct business integral to the continuing success of CMS. The meeting will be held Sept. 20-22, 2013, at the Vail Marriott Mountain Resort.

All members are encouraged to view the resolutions that will be considered by the House of Delegates and provide comments online. Comments must be submitted by close-of-business on Monday, Sept. 16. CME AND COPIC POINTS AVAILABLE

COMPAC PROGRAMMING

COMPAC, the political action committee of CMS, will present several sessions during this year's meeting to facilitate discussion on top advocacy issues between members and key elected officials. The COMPAC-AMPAC luncheon on Saturday, Sept. 21, will feature a discussion on Medicare payment and the SGR with U.S. Congressman Cory Gardner. The 1:45 - 2:45 p.m. session on Saturday will explore prescription drug abuse in Colorado. And the 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. session on Sunday will explore the liability climate, featuring a panel discussion with Sen. Ellen Roberts, Sen. Cheri Jahn, Rep. Clarice Navarro and Rep. Joann Ginal.
