Middle School WEEL...
and alumni find common ground!
The last two week's WEEL programs centered around the business
 of entertainment with visits to a local studio,
 Mike Mathis Productions, and a guest speaker who taught about the finer elements of film editing and screen writing.

Alumni Sheldon D. (2012) and Eitan G. (2013) 
just completed appearances in a recent production at LACHSA.
 
PTO Family Program
PTO is sponsoring a multi-family hike at Monrovia Canyon Park. 
It's a beautiful, shady, and relatively short hike 
to a 30-foot waterfall.
It's suitable for most young kids though there are 
some narrow and steep ledges at times. 
Please bring water, snacks, and proper shoes.
Parking currently costs $7.00.
Please try to arrive at 10 am. 
We will leave promptly at 10:15 am.

Mrs. Feldman recently attended the Hartman Institute's 
session on learning about Israel for educators.

Dashiell E. just learned how challenging Mrs. Feldman's work, 
as Head of School, really is.

Mrs. Feldman, Mrs. Snyder, Ms. Freedenthal, and Ms. Dinerman
together attended a BJE workshop on 
Understanding and Leveraging School Culture.

It's a new month and it's a fun project - we are collecting boxes of Mac-n-Cheese!
They will serve a dual purpose:
First as groggers for Purim and next as a food donation to Foothill Unity!
Watch for the deposit box at drop-off!
