Message from Weizmann Committee on Trustees

Dear Parents,

Below please find the slate nominated to be the Board of Trustees for the 2014/15 school year.

The role of a Weizmann trustee is to be an ambassador of our school in activities that successfully support the school in the larger community. We look to elect to our board individuals who will actively engage in ways that support the school both in resource development and recruitment. It is incumbent upon the Board to oversee the school's fiscal management and governance responsibilities.

As you can see from the slate, the school is doing a good job in keeping with best practices as recommended by WASC and the BJE, maintaining a balance between current parents and non-parents serving on our board.  We are particularly honored to have trustees who have served for many years, and whose alumni children are now off to college and beyond!

Per our by-laws, we offer the parent community an opportunity to vote on the slate each year.  We urge you to please review the list. If you approve the slate in full, there is no need to respond. If you would like to respond, or have any comments or questions, please email the office by 9 am on Monday, June 16.

We are delighted and grateful to these passionate, dedicated, and talented individuals who have offered to volunteer their time to support our staff and help our school grow and thrive into the future.
