Paying Tribute

to the Commitment and Dedication

of our Past Leaders

As you are all well aware by now, we are celebrating our 30th anniversary this year.  Whether you can attend the event on February 8th or not, I hope you will join me in participating by placing a greeting in our Tribute Book.  You can submit a ¼, ½, or full page tribute together with relatives or friends, as a number of our families and students have already done, or submit an individual ad or listing.  This is a great opportunity to show our appreciation and gratitude to the men and women who have given their time and effort to steward this school through years of both challenge and growth.  I am proud to announce that our entire staff contributed to a group ad honoring our past presidents and founders. The submission deadline of January 17 is nearly upon us and Franci (francilg@gmail.com) will gladly give you more specific information.

It is with much joy that we will be feting our benevolent donors, Alan and Sandy Whitman, who are our evening's special honorees and to whom we wish to publically recognize for their extraordinary commitment and generous dedication to our school each year.  All proceeds from the Tribute Book directly benefit our students.  Here is our dedicated corps of founders and past presidents, most of whom will be joining us on February 8th:

Chris Cozen, B'nai Simcha Founding Director

David Blacher, 83-85 Founding President

Joel Goldberg, 85-86

Alan Whitman, 86-87 -- Our Special Event Honoree

Jakki Sencer, 87-89

Nancy Forbes, 90-91

Doug Graff, 91-93

Janice Mayo, 96

Richard Lubman, 96-98

Sandy Hartford, 98 -00

Yudie Fishman, 00-02

Tina Lowenthal, 02-03

David Holland Moritz, 03-08

Shelly Freedenthal, 08-11

Galit Feinreich, 11-13

Weizmann Day School's 30 Years of Educational Excellence anniversary event is more than just a celebration.  It is a way for us to acknowledge those who have been devoted contributors in the creation, growth, and future advancement of our beloved school.

Shabbat Shalom,
~ Lisa
