Holiday Happenings
| We are currently in the midst of celebrating Jewish Book Month! Guest author Erica Silverman visited our school last week to help kick off Jewish Book Month. She taught about Emma Lazarus and her famous poem on the Statue of Liberty, as described in her book, Liberty's Voice and shared her fun rhyming Hanukkah story, Hanukkah Hop!
We are enjoying reading in all our classes from kindergarten to middle school. Some of the exciting things happening are reading buddies, author studies, reading books by Jewish authors, writing and illustrating children's books, book reports, and much much more. We embrace reading here at Weizmann Day School and will continue to foster a love of reading throughout the year.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Shabbat Shalom!
