Hello My Little Lover of Life, Sweet Smile of Summer and Cheeky Creative Soul!!!
You, yes YOU, make a difference-- everyday-- on the earth.
Just ponder on that for awhile.
There is a knowledge of the butterfly effect--that a tiny change at one place in a complicated system can have huge impacts elsewhere-[with the example given of rolling a giant ball from the top of the hill and depending on exactly where it was positioned (and what items it encountered on its way down) it would have extreme variations in what was hit at the bottom of the hill.]
The resulting metaphor from on this idea was that one flap of the butterfly's wings in one part of the world could change the weather forever in another place on the planet.
Just thought you should know that---
the work you do today, the smiles you give, the moments you stop to listen--ALL-- have a far reaching impact.
You have already touched more lives than you can imagine.
You don't need to worry. You are tracking very well and right on target for your life.
Stay close to the earth, listen to your heart and flap those wings my little butterfly!!!!!!
With Huge Affection for All that YOU bring to myself and others,

Wrangling--At Home on the Range
Sometimes when struggling with a choice (and we each are presented with many on an ongoing basis) one is not quite sure exactly which direction to go. We're all aware of the no pain/no gain theory and the idea that struggle is part and parcel of any success - so even entertaining the notion of letting go feels uncomfortable.
Sometimes though, just SOMETIMES, I personally have found that the reason the struggle is there is BECAUSE IT IS NOT THE RIGHT TIME OR CHOICE for me. I'm having the struggle because intuitively I KNOW there is something my everyday self hasn't caught onto yet.
I do that with everything from painting, to writing a post, to doing this newsletter.
Sometimes things flow together, sometimes I struggle, persist, then complete it feeling like it was exactly the right choice to stay in the game.
But then there are the times that I finally get it through my head that it simply is the wrong time, wrong place, not meant for me sort of thing.
This is usually realized the minute I drop the idea and feel a huge wave of RELIEF! Not guilt over "quitting"--just a big wave of settling into feeling like suddenly my "clothes" are fitting again--I've stopped trying to make that square peg fit into a triangle hole.
Why am I sharing this here and now? Just to support you in case you have been trying to cow wrangle yourself into doing something and so far the wrangling is still happening. You can't settle on moving forward and you can't settle on letting go.
Try letting go and see how you feel. Remorse, relief? Fear, peace?
It isn't always easy to know when to let go of an idea, anymore than it is to know when to hang on to it like a bronco riding cowboy.
What happens if we don't do this thing that seems like something we should be doing? What happens if we do?
Culling fear out of the decision can actually make me laugh at myself--did I REALLY think I was going to become a bag lady if I missed this "golden opportunity"?? What is really driving me to think I need to do it now? Will folks really think I am flakey because my monthly newsletter comes out 6 times a year? (jury still out on that one ;-)
A gut check at these times is perfectly in order. Seriously. How does your gut feel when you ask it about what you're struggling with?
Try letting go and see what happens. For most matters that we are addressing here, the world will NOT spin off its axis. Pestilence and flooding will not take place. You will, in all likelihood, have the option to pick it up again, do it at a later time, or do it in a different way should you find that you are filled with regret.
And an obvious uptick to the whole gut check, stop wrangling and let go thing? You have now left the way open for the things, the ideas, the important work of your life to happen.
A lot less struggle, a lot more peace--on the range.

The Brilliant French Caper!
So much happened in France that it's hard to do it justice in this letter---a few videos, some good songs and a ton of pics might help bring it into view though :-)
I've gathered it all at one link (click here) for your perusal.
And one special treat---a lavender only video that I put together for my friends Suzie and Ian (the Lavender Lherm Farm belongs to this beautiful couple) that is making its debut here just for you!
Here are the beautiful ladies that traveled to France with me for Paint France with Dreama -- and two little movies that let you see some of what they got into while there;-)!!
