My tulips have a few words for you....
"Spring is finally here!!!!!!"
Eddie Pierre has a few words for you....
"Can I borrow some money?"
Geez....I KNEW I shouldn't have let him get a word in! He spends way too much time with Eddie Bill and you never know WHAT is going to come out of that furry mouth. Please don't write and tell me what else he said to you....I will just go ahead and apologize here and now.
So, at this very moment I am heading to the Washington, DC area to teach and guess what is blossoming there besides great art? The Cherry Trees:))!!!
And my book, Be Inspired: Adventures for the Heart, has arrived to rave reviews.
Of course the reviews were from Eddie (and specifically regarding the chapter that had a painting of him, so take it for what it's worth;)
YES---10 winners will be selected to receive a signed copy of the book!
YES---I am heading to Whidbey Island, WA next month to teach!
NO---I have not lost the extra pounds gained in Carmel, IN! (I can't believe you asked;)

MAYBE---I occasionally make things up/daydream/stretch the truth a wee bit;))

Spring Fever:)
I have consciously chosen to take the time to enjoy this spring.....as attested to by my confession (click here to read).
I know--- it is oh so easy to feel like we simply don't have time. That's exactly why I am sharing Urgent, please read asap, from writer Seth Godin which contains this line:

In Just Two Weeks!
A lot can happen in two weeks.
- Eddie could get a job.
- I could grow my hair out and start dressing like Mick Jagger
- Oil paints could become edible and taste like chocolate.
- My 2014 Workshop Dates could be released.
Only one of those things is likely to happen.
I'll let you be the judge.
Two weeks from today.
(I know....I'm hoping for the oils that taste like chocolate too;)

Colorful Stories!
Rembrandt paints (makers of the Transparent Red Medium color ---one of my personal favorites:)) is sharing some great info on their Facebook page. It is filled with all kinds of stuff on....you guessed it....color:)!
And they have some awesome contests - like Create Your Own Color (and have it named after you:))
Right now if you upload your spring themed painting to their FB page you will be in the running for a gift of ALL the colors they have in watercolor tubes!
Also, this link (click here) is filled with the real stories behind colors---like what color was one time more expensive than gold? and what is the "mother of all colors"?? (no, not Caribbean Blue;)
