Loan Cycle Continues
As mentioned last month, we have five mothers who two months ago completed their first loan cycle. They all paid back their loan of $100 - with interest. We're proud of them, and delighted that we were able to help them get their businesses started. Below we see our director, Suy Leang, and assistant, Srey Roth, as they celebrated with the women in January when they received their second loan ($150):

Suy Leang visits Hem Son in her home
Hem Son: "Today in the early morning, Mr. Leang and I drove a motorbike and went to visit my farm that I am planting the root of Taro in my land. These plants will provide the roots so that I can sell to my suppliers from Phnom Penh - restaurant wants to purchase from me, they will make many kind of desserts. In April 2015, we will harvest the roots so that we can sell to my customers. Today, I was happy to see Mr. Leang came down and visited my family. I was very happy to get a second loan from MfM. Without MfM program in my village, I can not run my farm. I love MfM in my village. You are doing a wonderful work to help the poor family in my community!"

I am selling ice-ball and snacks. This month of Feb. I am doing fine so that I could repay back my loan for this month. I wish and wanted to see MfM, that this NGO is helping more families in my community, we are having many poor families who need your help. Your program is so much mean to my family.
