         Cambodia Report Samples

Once a month we receive reports on the progress of our clients in Cambodia. The report includes photos, financials and comments from the mothers. It's a pleasure to see the success that our program is generating, and to hear directly from the clients. Below are a few samples. In the photos you see our manager, Sarm Vy, as she conducts her visits collecting the information for the reports. Below each photo is the mothers comment.

         Business Workshops in Vista

Our local MfM program is moving along nicely. After the initial period of introduction and orientation we've formed a dedicated group of clients in Vista, California. The weekly meetings are going well with informative business topics conducted with the help from volunteers, Joel Sierra, Allen McKay and Griselda Johnson. Below you see a photos of one of our workshop sessions.

                  In the Coast News

Recently the Coast News did a very nice story on our program. For those of you who didn't have a chance see it, you can click the link here: Coast News. We got some good coverage that helped in our holiday appeal. Below is the photo of Niels and Roselia Morales that appeared in the Coast News. The shot is from a presentation to the Mission Valley Rotary Club that was done my Niels and board members, Dave Peiser and Verne Scholl. Several of our Vista clients came along to display their handicrafts.

Hi Everybody!

Happy New Year to all our friends and supporters. I wish everyone all the best for 2013. There are many greetings that come to us at this time in so many forms. I'd like to add one that I find particularly moving. It gives a beautiful message of hope and inspiration to ponder as we move into the future. Click here on this Auld Lang Syne link. I've never heard this timeless song done done more beautifully.

The Cambodia program continues to do very well. Since my visit last October and November there has been good progress with new clients and the new staff I hired. The monthly report is always a real pleasure to receive, and for this month I've focused on some of the comments we receive from the mothers as the manager visits their businesses. You can see their positive comments to the left.

           -----------

And, the local Vista program is moving along very nicely, as well. I receive considerable help from Allen McKay, Joel Sierra and Griselda Johnson, which I appreciate so much. You can see them in the photos in this newsletter. (Thanks Allen, Joel and Griselda. You are true MfM friends!)

         -------------

Did you see us in the news. Yes, there was a great article in the Coast News, written by Lillian Cox. She came out to one of our workshop sessions in Vista, and added so much to the session. (Thanks, Lillian. You got the story just right.)

     -----------------

So, we move on to the new Year. I look forward to working with my fabulous team both here and in Cambodia. Would anyone like to join us. There's a lot to be done, so if you become inspired to help, just give me a call.

Again, Happy New Year.

Take care for now.
