Chester County SCORE to offer the Workshop
Franchising: An Introduction

On May 12, 2014


WEST CHESTER, April 23, 2014 - Chester County SCORE is proud to announce that it will offer the three hour Franchising: An Introduction Workshop on Monday May 12, 2014 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the West Chester University Graduate Business Center, 1160 McDermott Drive, West Chester, PA 19380.

Speakers include Steve Buch, president and owner of FranNet of Philadelphia, a franchise sales and consulting firm with offices in Yardley and Blue Bell, PA and Kim Graham, senior sales consultant at BeneTrends, Inc., a firm recognized as the authority in franchise and small-business financing, and Nancy Lanard, award winning nationally recognized franchise attorney with Spadea, Lanard, and Lignana Attorneys at Law from Philadelphia, PA.  

Steve Buch advises clients on how to search for and evaluate franchise opportunities in the Greater Philadelphia Metro Area.  Steve will talk about why franchising has proven to be a low risk, high reward business opportunity that can provide the lifestyle and career many aspiring small business owners want.  Some covered topics are why buying a franchise, franchise business models and segments, franchise myths, risk and rewards, and simplifying the search for finding the right franchise. 

Kim Graham works hand in hand with franchisors, business brokers and BeneTrends clients to provide total funding solutions for the life of their business, which include developing 401(k)/IRA business funding solutions while maintaining tax-deferred status and the flagship Rainmaker Plan that allows small business owners to access their qualified retirement funds to invest in their new business.  Some covered topics are franchisor capital requirements and funding options.
