Chester County SCORE to offer the Small Business Workshop Series
Simple Steps for Starting Your BusinessTM

- Chester County SCORE is proud to announce that it will offer the Small Business Workshop Series on Thursday April 10, April 17, April 24, and May 1, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at The Chester County Library, 450 Exton Square Parkway
, Exton, PA 19341.
The sessions will be held as follows:
Session 1: Business Concept April 10, 2014
Session 2: Marketing Plan April 17, 2014
Session 3: Financial Projections April 24, 2014
Session 4: Funding Sources May 1, 2014
This comprehensive series, Simple Steps for Starting Your BusinessTM, is designed to help entrepreneurs test their new business idea and get started on the right path. Session I, "Business Concept", provides step-by-step guidance in researching your idea, markets, and competition. Participants will be able to identify their target markets, describe their products and services, and collect key competitive information to support a start-up feasibility plan. The follow-on workshops will help attendees understand the basics of:
- marketing a product or service;
- understanding business financials and how they work; and
- how to fund and finance a business
Pre-registration is recommended, as seating is limited. The fee for all four sessions is $80.00 or $25.00 for each session. Free, one-on-one mentoring is also a part of the workshop process.
