| Wind Protection Tips for Your Pool |
 Greetings!
It's heeeeeeeere....Our first Santa Ana of the season. There is a high wind advisory through Sunday at noon, so batten down the hatches!
And what about that pool?
In SoCal, our leaves don't typically change color and fall heavily from the trees until November, so you may not have a lot of leaves in your pool with this wind. You will still have dust and debris blowing into your pool though and the fallout from a large windstorm can damage your pool equipment. In order to avoid that, we advise you to turn off your equipment when the wind starts, so that debris will not clog your skimmer and pump baskets. Clogging your skimmer and pool cleaner may cause damage to your pump and automatic pool cleaner and that is an unnecessary expense. When the wind stops, use your net to remove all large debris from the pool before turning your equipment back on. As always, if you have any questions, just give us a call. And if you need any cleaning equipment, stop by our store. We'll fix you up.
Happy Autumn, Team RPSC
P.S. Our newest Autumn Flags (and a Giant Spider Web or two...) are here!
