Mission Connection:

We had a very special guest from Kenya, Jacob Auma, Program Manager for Christian Mission Aid in Kenya, attend our last chapel for MS and HS.

He was connected to us by Mark Hagen who is part of Christ Community's Church, Network Beyond.

They came to talk to us about the Kenya Girls Rescue Center. Some of our students asked how they could help. As a family you can check out their website at www.kenyagirlsrescue.com

Mr. Auma shared with our students the importance of being a true Christ-follower and how they are bringing the message of Christ's love to remote areas and tribes in Africa.

An interesting part of the story today was how the local church actually starts schools. These schools are then funded by the government and the Gospel message goes forward. Amazing! This used to be the case in this country, but is no longer true. Please check out this powerful ministry with your kids.

Thanksgiving Banquet

November 14th

Our Thanksgiving Banquet is about giving thanks, thanks to the teachers for their hard work, thanks to our parents for recognizing the value of a Christian education, and thanks to God for providing us a place to teach and learn about Him.

This year the banquet will focus on raising money for our scholarships, we would love the opportunity to share Christ with all the children in our community. If you feel lead to join us on this mission please consider joining us at the Thanksgiving Banquet. We ask for prayer and pledges in accomplishing the "Dayspring Mission".

Volunteers Needed

The Library is looking for a few good hands. Help is needed for our annual bookfair: planning, decorating, donations, staffing! We would also welcome a few volunteers who would be available to give an hour once or twice a month to help with some of the routine tasks of keeping the library in top shape. Please contact Lois Morris by email (lmorris@dayspringeagles.org)if you are able to help out.

Basketball Coaches Needed:

High School JV Coach/Assistant Need a female coach and would like someone who knows the point guard position but not a must for the PG spot, but they do need to know basketball.

Middle School Coach, male or female is fine. Need someone who will teach fundamentals, who knows the game, and willing to run the program the Varsity Girls coach is running.

I truly feel blessed by all of you and I want to say thank you, I could not make it through the day without your help
