New Fall Schedule Beginning Sunday, August 12
Woodmont will have a new schedule for Wednesday and Sunday evenings beginning Sunday, August 12. AWANA will move to Sunday nights and be expanded to a 2 hour program that will go through the evening service. The schedule has been adjusted both nights to end earlier to help parents get children home earlier on school nights. A survey will be done soon to determine if there is interest and leadership to offer children's choir on Wednesday nights. The new schedule begins on August 12:
Sunday Night
- 4:00 Café Hosanna or Soul Desire rehearsal
- 5:00 Youth Choir to 5:45
- 5:15 Adult DT classes (Some classes might start earlier if needed.)
- 5:45 Children AWANA until 7:15
- 5:45 Youth Snack Supper / Devotional
- 6:30 Sunday night Worship Service ending at approximately 7:15 PM
Wednesday Night
- 5:00 - 5:45 Wednesday night Supper
- 5:45 - 6:45 (Children's Skillz and Drillz or Choir) and Mission Friends
- Adult Bible Studies and Prayer Meeting
- 6:15 Youth Bible Study (Note - The East Campus Game Room would be open and staffed for parents to drop youth off early beginning at 5:35 PM)
- 6:45 Choir and Orchestra rehearsal
We hope to try this new schedule for a year to see if it works better and helps increase our participation in our Sunday and Wednesday night programs.
Under His grace,
Steve

Singles Ministry
The Singles Ministry successfully completed another 13-week session of DivorceCare and DC4K. There was an average of 16 adults each Monday night and 6-9 kids. Below is a list of comments about how the class impacted their life:
- I will never forget the connected feelings of sincere fellowship.
- It has helped me to forgive.
- I received helpful tips and suggestions as well as stress relief.
- I received support, love and advice from others who are farther down the road on this journey.
- The class has helped me to heal so much.
- It has drawn me closer to God.
- I gained some new friends who are going through the same thing.
- Helped me to focus on God.
- Helped me gain a positive outlook on life and realize things can and will get better.
- I'm more focused on walking with the Lord through whatever He has for me.

Many thanks to the following dedicated and awesome DivorceCare facilitators and DC4K workers: James Hensley, Amy Murphy, Craig Brooks, Carla Hamm, Regina Brewer, Hallie Olive, Demi Simmons and Mark Petit (UNA intern). Special thanks to Amy for the delicious meals she prepared each night.
