A record number of 650 seniors will become Gator graduates at the 2016 Commencement. The ceremony is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 3 in Sam Vitanza Stadium, on the Dickinson High School campus. Gates will open at 6 p.m. for guests to begin arriving. 
The Dickinson ISD Education Foundation has been busy in the community lately at several different events. The Houston Dynamo donated 50 free tickets to a soccer game, which were given out to employees supporting the Education Foundation through the Cornerstone Club. The community came out to two different fundraisers, one at Panera Bread and another at Click-Fil-A in League City where a portion of the proceeds where donated to the Education Foundation.
