Next stop: Playoffs Round 4
Gators to play North Shore at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5

The Dickinson High School Gators had a very successful Thanksgiving break winning both of their playoff games, including most recently a 19-17 win against Lamar High School. The Lamar win pushes the Gators into Round 4 of the UIL 6A Division I football playoffs.

The Gators are set to play North Shore High School at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 5 at Pasadena ISD's Veterans Memorial Stadium, 2902 Dabney in Pasadena. Gates to the stadium will open at 11:30 a.m. Dickinson will be the home team, so fans should use the parking and seating on the side next to Burke Road.

Advance tickets will be sold from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 8 a.m.-12 noon Friday for $8 students and $10 adults. All tickets purchased at the gate on Saturday are $12. There will be no charge for parking. No student passes and senior gold cards will be accepted for this playoff game. District 21-6A, District 24-6A, THSCA, THSADA and THSCWA passes will be allowed for the holder only (no guests).

Unfortunately, NRG and Houston area college stadiums were unavailable this weekend, so the game is being played at a neutral high school football stadium. Based on attendance at the past two playoff games at NRG Stadium, we are expecting a sell-out crowd this weekend. Fans are encouraged to buy tickets in advance and arrive early to guarantee a seat at the game.

Looking ahead... The winner of the Dickinson vs. North Shore game will play the winner of the Judson vs. Smithson Valley game in Round 5 the weekend of December 12-13. The winner of this game will move to the final State Championship game already scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday, December 19 in NRG Stadium.
