McAdams Cheerleaders
Any student that is interested in trying out for the McAdams Junior High Cheerleaders needs to attend a mandatory meeting with their parent at 6 p.m. Monday, March 9 in the McAdams Junior High Cafeteria. Tryout information packets will be handed out at the meeting.

Dickinson Diamonds
The Dickinson High School Diamonds Dance Team will have a mandatory meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 10 in the DHS Dining Hall for anyone wanting to audition for the 2015-2016 team. Information regarding transportation, times and audition requirements will be discussed at the meeting. Try-out week will take place March 23-27.

Gator Relays

 

Dickinson High School will host the Gator Relays this Saturday, March 7 at Sam Vitanza Stadium as 17 high school boys teams and 19 girls teams compete in different track and field events. The morning will start with field events at 8:30 a.m., followed by preliminary running events at 9:30 a.m. Finals will start one hour after the conclusion of preliminaries. Admission to the Gator Relays is $4 for adults and $2 for students.

Dickinson ISD had its strongest showing to date when approximately 75 junior high and high school students represented the district at the 33rd Annual Galveston County Science Fair on Feb. 21 at Galveston College. Congratulations to the following students on earning top finishes at the fair.

Four more Dickinson High School seniors have finalized their college plans and signed letters of intent to play college football. This brings the total to 10 players who will represent the Gators on college football teams this coming fall.
