Dickinson ISD has called for a two-hour delayed start on Friday, January 24 due to the rain, sleet and icy conditions expected in the early morning hours.

  

Secondary campuses will start school at 9:30 a.m. and elementary schools at 10:30 a.m. Morning pre-kindergarten students will attend school from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Afternoon pre-kindergarten classes will not be affected with normal hours of 12:30-3:30 p.m.

All schools will dismiss at normal times.

  

Dickinson ISD buses will run their regular routes two hours later than normal.

  

If the situation becomes serious enough to cancel school, additional updates will be made available on the district website, on the Dickinson ISD Facebook, Twitter, the "Gator Bytes" email newsletter as well as with local media.
