History was made at NAHS on December 3rd. In just one special day, we came together and raised nearly $11,230 to help the homeless cats and dogs in the community.
THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for your support!

Thank you to our match donor, and thank you to all of you who continue to support Naperville Area Humane Society throughout the year in so many wonderful ways.

2014 NAHS Pet Calendar
Thank you for making the 2014 Pet Calendar such a huge success. We hope that you enjoy all the treasured photo's as you turn the pages each month. Think about saving prized shots to submit for next year's calendar as you have your cameras out during the holidays! So many shelter animals are helped by all of us joining forces together and creating these wonderful calendars. So, again Thank You for your participation.
The remaining 2014 Pet Calendars have been reduced to just $10.00, which would make a perfect stocking stuffer, a hostess gift or a last minute Holiday gift idea! Just stop by the shelter during regular hours to pick up any additional calendars.
Also, a reminder to those that have not picked up their pre-order and paid for calendar(s). We would like you to begin enjoying it on January 1st, so stop by the shelter to pick it up during normal business hours.

Paws for Tales Needs You
We are seeking volunteer-dog teams to participate in our Paws for Tales program. All dogs must have their CGC (Canine Good Citizen) or be Delta certified. To learn more about volunteering for this program with your dog, please contact Terri Hancock, humane education manager, at (630) 420-8989 ext. 117 or via email. Our Paws for Tales program will motivate many children to improve their reading skills. The human-animal bond is very powerful. Interaction with the dog and his unconditional love and limitless patience, is an experience that can not be described. Positive effects have been observed even on the very first reading session with the dog. |
Warm Hearts and Paws for the Holidays
Here are three ways you can help warm hearts and paws this holiday season at NAHS!
Sponsor-a-Pet
Your generous donation of $25 will sponsor a cat or dog, and provide the supplies needed to keep them safe and warm throughout the holidays.
Your support is a symbol of hope this season for the hundreds of animals that come through our shelter doors each year.
When you sponsor, your name will be listed on our website as sponsor of your animal. Additionally, you will receive recognition in our January eNewsletter. You will also receive a thank you card from your sponsored animal.
We hope this brings you extra joy this holiday season knowing you warmed very special hearts and paws.

Holiday Giving Tree
'Tis the season for giving, and what better way to give than to an animal in need. Our Giving Tree is filled with pictures of our precious dogs and cats. Each picture also lists various types of gift cards that will help our staff and volunteers care for each animal.
You can bring your donation to the shelter anytime-don't forget to stop and say hello to the dogs and cats while you're here!
Tribute Gifts
Tribute donations are a wonderful way to commemorate a special occasion or an unique gift for that hard-to-shop-for someone. A tribute donation is a perfect way to honor your family or friend and help the animals. You can make your gift donation online, or at the shelter.
With each tribute gift, notification will be sent to whomever you ask us to notify. We also acknowledge your thoughtful generosity by publishing all tributes in our newsletter.
