Humane Heroes - Angels for the Animals
 We are truly grateful for Susan A. Stephan, an angel for the animals, for choosing Naperville Area Humane Society as one of the beneficiaries of her estate, helping NAHS save the lives of many homeless pets. Susan is described by her friends as a kind person who was "compassionate to causes that support those who truly need help". While saddened by her loss, her friends are "not surprised by her generosity and forethought for supporting her...passions".
Susan thereby joins a group of important NAHS supporters called Humane Heroes whom have chosen to bequest a significant gift to NAHS following their passing. Through planned giving, you leave a lasting legacy for the homeless animals in the community and assure their high quality care and protection into the future by assisting NAHS in its fine work.
A planned gift can include donations made through your will or trust, naming NAHS as the owner or beneficiary of your life insurance policy or IRA, donating stock to NAHS and partnering with NAHS through a gift annuity, charitable trust. In every case, you should consult your tax advisor or estate planning attorney for assistance. NAHS is a section 501(c)(3) organization under the Internal Revenue Service. Adult Education Seminar - TNR: 101
 Join us for our next adult education seminar on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. Our guest speaker, Tammy McAuley, of Feral Fixers, will talk about how trap-neuter-return programs can help feral cats.

NAHS has partnered with two local businesses to provide easy ways you can help raise funds for the dogs and cats!
 Welligee Personal Training & Lifestyle is offering fitness assessments for $5, a savings of $34 off the normal fee, with the $5 going to NAHS! They are also collecting items such as food, toys and treats for the pets. Welligee offers one-on-one and small group personal training with one of three highly-trained and certified instructors.
