Healthiest Maryland Businesses
Worksite Health ScoreCard
ScoreCard Healthiest Maryland Businesses recently adopted the CDC's Worksite Health ScoreCard as the primary assessment tool to gauge employer's wellness strengths and needs. This comprehensive tool replaces the retired "HMB Organizational Assessment" and has great value in identifying proven strategies with high impact.

"We often find that businesses struggle with prioritizing strategies- especially those organizations that are small to medium sized and that don't have a dedicated workplace wellness employee, said Nicole Morris, Regional Lead for HMB. "The ScoreCard allows the business to see how well they are doing in a certain area, say nutrition, and to see which area they need support, perhaps tobacco control. As a Worksite Wellness Specialist, I am then able to tailor resources to their specific needs, and recommend those strategies that have strong scientific evidence to support behavior change."

"We also have businesses that are quite competitive, and want to see how they stack-up to national scores." The ScoreCard helps lay the foundation for focused wellness efforts, with the ultimate goal of improving worker health.
