It's the
Luck of the ReStore! irish-clover-banner.jpg
Not just in March but all year round the ReStore is extremely lucky to have a dedicated group of volunteers. They do everything from cashiering, making lunch and helping customers to going on pick ups, cleaning donations and unloading trucks.

In 2014 there were 147 people who volunteered, putting in over 13,000 hours! WOW!
We are blessed to have seventeen people who have been volunteering since we opened, 12 years ago.
A huge THANK YOU  to everyone who gives their time to help Habitat.

Favorite Thing
In this new series, we'd like to share some favorite things that we've come across and liked.

 This month: spray paint
This new Valspar Premium Finish spray paint goes on in a fine mist, instead of the old-fashioned, hard-to-hold-down-the-button spray. If you've used spray paint and ended up with a drippy mess and a sore hand, you might try this. It's paint and primer in one, goes on evenly, covers metal, wood and plastic and is easy to use. Try it on your next project and let us know what you think.

Very Pinteresting
Hardware. You see it everywhere, but what can you do with it? Check out some cool ideas on our Hardware Again Board on Pinterest. Who knows, you might find yourself spending a lot more time in the plumbing department....

Cool Stuff
These pine room dividers were recently harvested from a Davenport home by ReStore volunteers. They are being sold and the money will help build Habitat homes.

If you are the owner of a house or commercial property that is going to be demolished and you think there are useable items, consider donating them to ReStore.  It's free, it's tax deductable and it keeps items out of the landfill. For more information email [email protected] or [email protected].
