Gaylord College is hosting an open town hall meeting called "Unheard . . . Next Steps: Gaylord College Listens" for Gaylord students at 7:30 p.m., on Thursday, February 5, in the Ethics and Excellence in Journalism Foundation Auditorium.
This event is intended to elicit Gaylord College student feedback and comments surrounding the recent "Unheard Voices" movement. On January 15, 2015, Unheard movement organizers and supporters gathered for a campus-wide town hall meeting to discuss the group's grievances, concerns and a plan to enact change on OU's campus.
Gaylord College wants to hear directly from its students about the issues raised with the Unheard movement and how Gaylord College can be proactive and part of the solution to address Unheard's student grievances. |
