Enrollment windows will be opening for all Gaylord students soon, but before you can enroll, you must visit with your adviser.

Gaylord undergrads are offered windows for advisement, and each year of students has its own window.

Be sure to schedule your advisement during this window. It will give you the best chance to get advised quickly and enroll as soon as possible to nab those hard-to-get-into classes.

Study Away from Home with GaylordUpcoming3

Not every Gaylord study abroad class has its own information session, and not all of them are held during the school year. These three summer session away classes will make your summer both fun and useful.

"Spend The Summer in Los Angeles. Find a Great Internship. Go To Summer School. Hang Out at the Beach."

Gaylord's newest travel study class, OU in LA brings students to one of the most relevant cities in the U.S. for media and communications majors.

SPICE Study Abroad

SPICE is an international communication studies summer program for undergraduate students that takes place at the University of Erfurt in Germany. The program is run by the University of Southern California/USA, Washington State University/USA, University of Texas at Austin/USA, University of Oklahoma/USA, University of Ottawa/Canada and the University of Erfurt/Germany as official partners.

Students will participate in two communication studies courses taught by faculty of the American partner universities. Erfurt communication studies students will join American students in class to make it a truly international experience. A one- week trip to Berlin including visits to political and media organizations and sightseeing is part of the course program.

Every student will participate in two intense courses:

Course 1: Media Psychology and Influence with Prof. Dr. Nicholas David Bowman (West Virginia U)
Course 2: Communication Ethics with Prof. Dr. Scott Stroud (U of Texas at Austin)
Course 3: Global and International Public Relations with Prof. Dr. Katerina Tsetsura (U of Oklahoma)

All courses are taught in English by U.S. Professors. After successful completion of the courses, students will be provided with an official transcript.

The Summer in Washington, D.C., program immerses Gaylord College students into the culture of government and politics in the Nation's capitol.

Students are exposed to campaign governance and interest group politics through periodic gatherings featuring political practitioners and national political journalists. They will receive practical experience as interns through various Washington offices.

To find out what other students thought of the experience, check out the preview video on YouTube.
