Just as technological changes have transformed warfare, technology has changed how correspondents cover those conflicts. This course will provide a tour of America's wars with the assistance of speakers such as one of first POW female war correspondents, to Dan Rather who brought the Vietnam War home to America's living rooms and New York Times photographer Tyler Hicks, who helped carry the body of Oklahoma City native Anthony Shadid out of Syria.
