Enid News & Eagle and EnidNews.com will be hiring a paid summer intern with free housing for those living outside the area. Interviews will be ASAP in March and hiring completed by April 10. The internship lasts from June 1 to July 31. The intern will receive a salary of $2,720 (before taxes) to work 320 hours during their internship period. Additionally, the local economic development authority will provide free boarding at Enid's Northern Oklahoma College campus from June 1 through July. The Gaylord Ambassadors program is the premiere student leadership organization of Gaylord College. The Ambassadors represent the student face of Gaylord College and are engaged in a variety of outreach activities with prospective students. They also have the opportunity to network with nationally-known scholars and journalists that visit Gaylord Hall. The Ambassadors assist the College during special functions, help develop new college programs and provide the student voice in communication with the administration, faculty, staff, alumni and donors.

The Oklahoma City chapter of The Association for Women in Communications (AWC) is proud to announce the 2014 Scholarship Application is now available to select women pursuing a degree in a communications-related field attending an Oklahoma college or university. Scholarship selection will be based on aptitude, interest in a communication-related career, academic performance, financial need, and demonstration of community service. Study Abroad students we need your photos! If you traveled with the International Ads or Travel Writing classes over the Winter break we want to see your pictures! We may use them for displays in the hall, to promote next year's trip or in our annual alumni magazine, Pulse. Be sure you have your name on any disks so we can give you credit.

 

Please put them on a dropbox, flashdrive or good old fashion CD/DVD and bring them to Celia Perkins in the dean's office on the third floor. Send dropbox or other file transfer invites to cperkins@ou.edu.
