twoCongrats to the new News21 Fellows!
Sydney Stavinoha, Carmen Forman and Amy Slanchik (from left to right) are three of the 21 students that have been selected for fellowships from applications submitted by journalism programs across the country. They will work out of a newsroom at the Cronkite School and travel across the country to report and produce their stories. The fellows work under the direction of News21 Executive Editor Jacquee Petchel, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and former senior editor for investigations and enterprise at the Houston Chronicle. Learn More »

  • Sower, a student-produced magazine for incoming freshmen on the Norman campus
  • HSC Sower, a magazine for new students at OU's HSC campus.

They will be produced on an accelerated schedule this year with final deadlines in May. Qualified students will have worked in OU Student Media previously or have other significant media experience. Learn More »

The Ambassadors represent the student face of Gaylord College and are engaged in a variety of outreach activities with prospective students. fourteenHouse Media Division Internship

The Oklahoma House of Representatives Media Division is seeking two interns for the 2014 spring semester, from February-May. The Media Division serves as a non-partisan liaison office between the 101 elected members of the Oklahoma House of Representatives and the media. Duties of the Media Division include responding to media inquiries, pitching stories, setting up interviews and news conferences, drafting and distributing news releases, news advisories and opinion columns, drafting speeches and talking points, managing the House social media platforms, holding media training sessions with elected officials, recording, editing and distributing video to broadcast media outlets, editing and archiving audio and video recordings from House committee hearings and floor sessions and maintaining the Media section of the House website. Learn More »
