| Students Win Gold Circle Awards |
The 2013 awards from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association were announced Friday. Unlike Gold Crowns, which go to the publication, Gold Circles go to individual student journalists. The awards are for work published last year. DAILY - 1st place, Overall Design/Newsmagazine: Blayklee Buchanan

In appreciation for Banned Books Week-Sept. 22-28th, the OU Professional Writing Students Association is conducting a book drive through the end of the month. The designated area to drop off books is in front of the Gaylord faculty workroom, room 3508. The books will be donated to Moore relief and a local OU professor who's home was affected by the tornado.

The Oklahoma State Department of Education Office of Events is currently seeking qualified individuals for a part-time internship position. This position will serve a key role in supporting the Events office during regional tours, town halls, trainings, conferences and other related projects.
Seeking part-time interns for September-December 2013.
Qualifications:
* Minimum age requirement, 18 years
* September-December, Tuesday & Thursday availability * Outgoing personality * Seeking career in marketing, events, or promotions * Self-starting and detail-oriented * Must be highly motivated and reliable * Ability to work as part of a team * Maintain a flexible schedule with availability on weekends and evenings when needed
*This is an unpaid, part time internship reporting to the Events Coordinator.
