St. Luke's Summer Monster Food Drive and Can Sculpture Contest
This summer in May and June bring cans and boxes of food for Food Pantries in North Little Rock and St. Francis House and put in the green bucket in the narthex. At our Vacation Bible School closing on July 1 at St. Luke's there will be a can sculpture contest for our youth making sculptures from the can and box goods. Bring food every week and sign up with Joanna joannaseibert@me.com to be a participant or judge in the can sculpture contest. We will also need help being with the children on July 1 as they make their sculptures as well as help delivering the food to the pantries. Again, contact Joanna if you can help with this fun summer project.
Please note that you need to check the expiration dates of food before dropping them off. We cannot donate expired food.

Wednesday Noon Eucharist
There will be no noon Eucharist on Wednesdays during Fr. Carey's sabbatical, from June 8th to Aug. 24th. Noon Eucharist will begin again on August 31st.

Staying connected to St. Luke's during the summer

Pocket Change for Building and Grounds Projects
Do you have change in your pockets or change purse? Do you think it is only a small amount and doesn't matter? Just image, if everyone donates and combines this pocket change, the total will continue to grow and needed projects will be funded and completed. A designated glass water bottle will be placed in the Narthex, remember, no amount of change is too small. Thank you from the Building and Grounds Committee.

Outreach
MONSTER FOOD DRIVE - June 26 is the last Sunday to leave your canned foods and non-perishable foods for the FOOD PANTRIES of North Little Rock and St. Francis House. If you do not get a chance to leave these things in the GREEN BUCKET in the narthex, you may take them by the parish office. These will be used in the Vacation Bible School contest on July 1 and then distributed. Contact Joanna Seibert if you would like to help with the judging of the contest on July 1. Contact Jeannie Fry if you would like to help organize the food on July 1 at noon in the parish hall for distribution to the food pantries.
FAMILY PROMISE-Our neighbor church, Park Hill Christian Church, will be partnering with St. Luke's in our Family Promise ministry. The first week that we will be serving families their evening meal will be the week of July 10. Nancy Crow is coordinating the meals and soon will be contacting those that signed up to help. Contact Nancy if you need more information on the meals we will be preparing and serving. IF YOU WISH to donate to this ministry, you can make your check out to St. Luke's with "FAMILY PROMISE" in the memo line, and place it in the offering plate or leave it at the office. You may sign up anytime to help with this ministry. Contact Nancy Crow at 501.412.3865 or Jeannie Fry at 501.941.0430 for more information on this ministry. HOMELESS SHELTER donations-may be left in the BLUE BARREL in the narthex. River City Ministries (North Little Rock), St. Francis House, Jericho Way and Dorcas House especially need BOTTLED WATER during these summer months.
