St. Luke's Summer Monster Food Drive and Can Sculpture Contest
This summer in May and June bring cans and boxes of food for Food Pantries in North Little Rock and St. Francis House and put in the green bucket in the narthex. At our Vacation Bible School closing on July 1 at St. Luke's there will be a can sculpture contest for our youth making sculptures from the can and box goods. Bring food every week and sign up with Joanna [email protected] to be a participant or judge in the can sculpture contest. We will also need help being with the children on July 1 as they make their sculptures as well as help delivering the food to the pantries. Again, contact Joanna if you can help with this fun summer project.

NEW. NEW. NEW
Help create new artwork for St. Luke's gallery! We are asking everyone who wants to show their work to create a landscape during the month of May. The deadline to bring your work is May 31. You can drop it off during the week to Caroline in the office (8-4) or give it to Suzzette on any Sunday. All ages and any media are welcome. Have work ready to hang and we will hang it in the Parish Hall for you. Include with your work: title, artist name, media and cost if you want to sell it, if you don't want to sell it put "nfs"on the cost line. We will make tags so they will all be alike. We want to display your work through the summer. What exciting fun! Think landscapes everyone!!!

OFFICE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Pocket Change for Building and Grounds Projects
Do you have change in your pockets or change purse? Do you think it is only a small amount and doesn't matter? Just image, if everyone donates and combines this pocket change, the total will continue to grow and needed projects will be funded and completed. A designated glass water bottle will be placed in the Narthex, remember, no amount of change is too small. Thank you from the Building and Grounds Committee.

BLUE BARREL DELIVERY REPORT: Tuesday, April 26, was another successful delivery day. Tommie Williams and Don Wood delivered to River City Ministry and Jericho Way. There was applause when they arrived at Jericho Way, as they had just run completely out of detergent. Sheryl Stewart, Betty Seymour, and an out of state friend of Betty's, delivered to Dorcas House and St. Francis House. St. Luke's sent two bags of canned beanie weenies, some extra-large packs of paper towels and toilet paper, and two bags of pill bottles to River City Ministries in North Little Rock. To Jericho Way, we sent at least 10 detergents (extra-large bottles and some boxes powdered), at least 2 jumbo packages of paper towel rolls & TP, and a bag of bar soaps. To Dorcas House, we sent the large box of Easter eggs, donated from ECW, at least 10 detergents, two bags toiletries, a jumbo package of paper towels along with another 4 rolls, a bag of stuffed animals, and a large bag of clothing. (The ladies at Dorcas House who helped us unload and carry in were really excited). And to St. Francis House, we delivered a large tote and two bags of pill bottles. (We also briefly visited with Darlene Bourgeois, Director of St. Francis House, visited.) All locations were very thankful and asked us to express their gratitude to St. Luke's. Our delivery team makes monthly deliveries to homeless shelters on the last Tuesday of each month. For more information on this project, or if you would like to become involved, contact Tommie Williams, Don Wood, Sheryl Stewart or Betty Seymour. We will continue to keep the blue barrel in the narthex in the coming month for your donations of DETERGENT, BOTTLED WATER, INSECT REPELLENT, BEANIE WEENIES and toiletries.
FAMILY PROMISE SIGN UP: We are now forming our St. Luke's cooking teams for Family Promise. These are teams of two to three people who will be responsible for preparing or bringing food and serving food. Please feel free to sign up in the narthex, or contact one of us: Nancy Crow at 501.412.3865,
