Arkansas Cursillo: A Journey #2 Accepting Applications Now
The Journey is a weekend retreat designed to enliven the Christian faith by discovering Jesus's will for your life. It is based on a method of living the Christian life hat has been presented in many denominations for over 70 years. It is a method that works! It focuses on how the resources of our faith strengthen and support our apostleship, and emphasizes those elements of doctrine and discipline which empower us to reach out. It also offers a method for ongoing support. The weekend retreat will be held at Camp Mitchell on Petit Jean Mountain on October 23-25, 2015. It will be led by Eric Savage and a team of both clergy and lay persons. It is open to ALL adult individuals of ANY denomination. Those persons who have previously attended a 3-day weekend are welcome to attend. Attendees at the first Journey weekend gave it glowing reviews! We encourage you to attend and to invite your friends from other denominations. More information about the weekend and an application form can be found here on the Arkansas Cursillo website. Cost for the retreat is $145 which includes all lodging, meals and materials.

Bell Tree
I am preparing for the fall season. I will offer the number of choirs that there are members for. Please let me know if you can play this year and I will decide how many choirs to offer. I am hoping to have 11 ringers for Chancel Ringers, 4 or more for Cadet Ringers, 1 or more for Little Lamb Ringers and 3/4 for Joyful Noise. Instead of the small advanced group, Jason and I are working to host an advanced Community Bell choir. You can play in more than one choir. Just let me know which ones you are interested in. Please notify me whether or not you want to play this year. I hope all of you can return. I am honored to have all of you play. I look forward to hearing from each of you. debi.bells@att.net 501-920-5706

Feast with Friends
Feast with Friends is going to start in September. There will be sign up forms starting August 9th. Be thinking about if you want to host, which is the determining factor as to how many months we can enjoy this fellowship opportunity. If we have enough hosts we will have dinners in August, September and October. November, December and January are skipped because those are very busy months. February, March, April and May will be the Spring round. This is a great way to get to know each other and make more memories.

Book Table
The book table has been moved to make room in our Narthex. Forward Day by Day's and copies of the sermons are still available in the Narthex. They are on the ledge underneath the Altar Flower chart.

IS THERE AN OUTREACH MINISTRY THAT YOU WOULD BE INTERESTED IN HELPING WITH?

We are making plans for the coming year, so, please feel free to contact either Joanna Seibert or Jeannie Fry about OUTREACH at St. Luke's about ideas or suggestions that you may have.
