UPHA CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS PARTY

WHEN: Saturday, December 15th ,10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

WHERE: Morningside Assisted Living and Memory Care residence, 801 Dixie Trail (corner of Dixie and Wade) 

WHAT: Holiday crafts, activities with residents, musical entertainment, and a visit from Santa Claus!

UPHA ANNUAL HOLIDAY PARTY

WHEN: Monday, December 17th , 6:30 to 9:00 p.m.

WHERE: Melvin's at the Alley, 2512 Hillsborough St (Free parking  under the bowling alley)

WHAT: Stop by for some holiday fellowship with your neighbors! Format is the same as past years - order your dinner and drinks, and UPHA will provide desserts.

Last week, I drove up Everett Ave. in the wee hours of the morning and still had to stop twice for pedestrians to cross the road. No, these weren't college kids rambling back home after Hillsborough Street wanderings.
